Sort the shapes and ordinal numbers 5 different ways.
Directions:
Cut out the cardinal number, ordinal number and shape cards. Also cut out the strips of shapes. Each strip is a different exercise. Place a strip on a table for your child along with the cards all scrambled together. Challenge them to pair the shape with the corresponding cardinal and ordinal number according to its placement in line. Ask questions to encourage positional vocabulary (eg. What two pictures are next to the figure skate? The hot cocoa is to the right of which picture? Which picture is last in line? What is between the snowman and the sled?)
