What better way to practice counting than with your fingers? We saw this activity in our Tinker Active workbook. We created a 100s chart with handprints, but you can also use the handprint counters to practice skip counting by 5s or 10s. How To:
-Trace your child’s hand on construction paper.
-Have them cut out the handprints and label the fingers 1-10 and/or the hands 5 and 10.
-Glue the palms of the hand to paper leaving the fingers free to move. Count as high as you want!
