Here is a fun and simple activity to inspire your children to count. Write numbers on the bottom of paper cups and encourage you children to count that number of buttons, puff balls, beads, rocks…whatever you have on hand. My kids do this exercise inside and out. I save the stack of cups in my cabinet and pull it out whenever we need a little math!
