My daughter continues to struggle differentiating between the lowercase letters b and d so we try to work on identifying those a few times each week.
I made this activity for her before the holidays and she has been playing with it for practice.
Try this! It’s easy to assemble, can be used repeatedly and (most importantly!) takes up very little space in your cupboard.
- I drew the upper-case letters B and D on two paper bags and wrote out the lowercase case letters b and d on a bunch of cards. Depending on your child’s ability you can also add some common words beginning with b and d. To play, instruct your child to sort the letters and words into the correct bags!
